RANT-Too busy...

Hey guys. OY! I keep waiting for some downtime so I can write a nice, informative post...however, that's not gonna happen anytime soon. So here's the best I've got for the moment.

I was wondering...do you guys have a favorite narrative non-fiction book? I just checked out Random Family by Adrian Nicole LeBlanc (Faulkner winner) about this family coming of age in the Bronx that she researched for ten years.

I'm also a big fan of Jonathan Kozol's books, Rachel & Her Children, Amazing Grace.

Here's some paintings from one of my favorite painters, Nancy Noel... Simply gorgeous

My problem is that I can't remember names. I love non-fiction, particularly the memoirs of non-famous people who have lived through extraordinary times, and I've read dozens of these. But because the people are not famous, I cannot remember their names. I remember all the stories, though...

This is going to sound totally weird, but do you happen to live in Johnstown?

You've got the same name as me and I was doing a search on my name to see if there was any chance that people might be able to find me. The only thing that came up was my face book and this.

Ironically I believe you're family to my husband, however some members of your family have not claimed my father in law.

Forgive the intrude or even scare....but I was just wondering. Remember, I'm only married into the family. I have no blood ties what-so-ever. Take care and I do hope to hear back from you, however, if you don't respond, than I'll understand.

Hi Angela. Are u from Virginia? I'm not sure which family of mine hasn't claimed your father in law? That sounds sad. I'm originally a Winebarger but then due to my mom's second marriage, I was adopted and carry Reggie's,her 2nd husband's name. Sound familiar? I'm not really close to my immediate family because of location and frail relations since I was little. Looking forward to hearing back from you :)
